I have over 20 years of experience in the field of Psychology, and have completed Accredited Training in Integrative Psychotherapy at Post-Graduate level.
Being Integrative means that I have a toolkit of various models and theoretical frameworks which allows me to sensitively meet you where you are, but also put a supportive framework in place to give you that gentle challenge to work towards the change you are looking for, improve resilience, develop confidence to introduce boundaries, express your needs, build stronger relationships and accept yourself.
My work will incorporate elements of Psychodynamic Therapy (develop understanding of your behaviour patterns that seem to unconsciously follow you, build awareness of how relationships effect your sense of self, and understand your emotions at a deeper level),Humanistic Therapy (the importance of validating and accepting your experiences, identifying your unmet needs) and CBT (identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns).
I offer a confidential, empathetic space with no judgement whatsoever; this will be your time to bring what you need to and possibly issues that you have been apprehensive to say out loud. I will not try to advise you, rather listen to you and work with you to help you in your process.
I can take clients from self referral, agency referral, corporate/workplace initiatives and some insurers. I work with age 16+.
